The Prevenzioneincenditalia Association has organized a design course with practical tests. The event will take place on April 16 and 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at APT SAFETY GROUP, Via delle Azalee 21, Sant'Alessio con Vialone, Pavia, Italy.
The design of fire protection systems, such as hydrant networks, is a skill that is often passed down within design firms, just as testing activities are frequently the domain of highly qualified maintenance personnel.
The aim of this course is to provide the participant with a comprehensive overview of this type of design, with the goal of equipping them with the skills to perform sizing and hydraulic calculations of the network. Additionally, the course will provide sufficient experience to approach testing procedures with the necessary safety measures.
Through a practical and theoretical approach, participants will have the opportunity to explore every aspect of the design and testing of pump rooms and hydrant systems. They will benefit from the expertise of experienced designers and maintenance professionals, and most importantly, from the systems available at the APT Safety Group training center, which will provide hands-on experience that is difficult to obtain elsewhere.
In practice, real simulators will be used, including a fire-fighting water network, pumping station, and standard-compliant pump group, to verify curve data, recirculation in the tank, and dynamic delivery from hydrant outlets.
